The Beast is Yet to Come: Mont Lux Celebrates Cast & Crew Screening for The Beast of Trinity Texas

Downtown Houston was alive with energy this past weekend as Mont Lux member Terry Weaver unveiled his first feature film, The Beast of Trinity Texas, with a private cast and crew screening at AMC in the Theater District. A packed house of cast, crew, and friends gathered to witness the culmination of years of creative effort — and to celebrate Terry’s remarkable accomplishment of writing, producing, directing, and starring in his debut feature.

After the credits rolled, the celebration continued with a red carpet walk and an after party at Curtain Call, the restaurant next door. Conversations spilled over with encouragement, feedback, and pride in what had been accomplished together.

Headline honors went to Weaver himself, alongside fellow Mont Lux member Jordan Bradley — the film’s cinematographer and editor. Jordan’s distinguished eye and cinematic artistry elevated the storytelling into something truly striking.

The film also highlights the strong creative ties within Mont Lux. Several members of our creative community contributed their talents to The Beast of Trinity Texas:

  • Ryan Holland  as Texas Ranger Jackson.

  • Mark Cole providing legal counsel.

  • Ross Bechtold serving as script consultant and appearing in the role of Eli.

Together, these contributions underscored what Mont Lux is all about — collaboration, creativity, and supporting one another in pushing stories into the world.

And the journey is only just beginning. The world premiere of The Beast of Trinity Texas is set for September 6th at the historic Ritz Theater in downtown Crockett, TX. Tickets are already sold out, a sign of the growing anticipation for this thrilling Texas tale.

For now, Mont Lux is proud to celebrate Terry Weaver and all those involved for bringing this vision to life. The screening was a reminder of why we gather as a creative community: to make, to share, and to champion bold new stories.

The Beast is here — but the best is yet to come.
